October Scrapbook Workshop

I'm Twitterpated!! that's the name of the new paper packet we'll be using this month.

Here is a two-page layout I made of my beautiful Granddaughter Hadley as a sample of what you can do.

The second sample will be of the actual page we'll be working on at our workshop.



Dates for the workshop:
Thursday, October 1 from 7-9 p.m.
Friday, October 2 from 9:30 a.m.-noon
Saturday, October 3 from noon-2 p.m.

Cost of the workshop will be. . . your choice!! In the past, the $35 workshop fee covered paper packet, stickease, brochure, embellishments. With the new fall catalog (available now!), we have a great new choice!! You can continue with the old style kit for $35. OR if you'd rather, we have a new kit bundle for each workshop which includes the brochure, paper packet, 1 full size accessory (it varies, this time it's the chocolate ribbon rounds) and a "B" size stamp set. The stamp set is sold exclusively in the bundle. If you would like to see a photo of the set, please email me and I'll send a picture (it's really cute and contains mushrooms, a hedgehog, a tree branch and a few sentiments. This bundle also costs $35 and I'll offer an additional embellishment kit containing our new assortment of chocolate brads, dimensional elements for an additional $15. You'll need to bring your hemp from last month and brads if you choose not to order the embellishment kit. Also, please bring your adhesive and paper trimmer.
The new brochures will knock your socks off! Now, not only does it contain scrapbook layouts but also a cutting guide and instructions for cards!! Close to My Heart has done it again!

October Card Workshop

Hi ladies,

Here are the latest card workshop samples. At this workshop, we'll be learning how to make a "tri-shutter" card. They're really easy, really fun and we'll be making 10--2 each of 5 different samples. I'll also have a handout with easy to figure out instructions. Cost of workshop is $20 and will be held Thursday, October 1 from 7-9 p.m., Saturday, October 3 from noon-2 p.m. or Friday, October 9 from 9:30-noon. Hey There Cupcake Workshop

Special thanks to all my sweet consultants who met the challenge of selling $100 each month for the 2nd quarter of the year and to my wonderful customers who purchased $100 in product for the month of June. I love you all!!


Here are photos of the projects we made (especially for those of you unable to attend). If you have questions, please let me know. We made a 2-page layout and 4 cards. Inside your packets you will find 2 additional patterns, one for a favor box (you'll find two pieces of patterned paper with shapes traced for this box and 2 for the card holder) and you'll find a pattern for a cupcake card holder. That pattern on the front will hold 3x3 cards but since we made standard sized cards, I enlarged it for you to fit them. You'll also find a blue paper bag to complete your card holder.
